Chiara Badano nasce a Sassello, in provincia di Savona, il    29 ottobre 1971. Educata ad amare Gesù, è felice di aiutare gli altri. Sogna di andare in Africa come medico e fin dall’ asilo invia i suoi risparmi ai bimbi poveri. Chiara è una ragazzina bella, intelligente e coraggiosa, allegra e sportiva. Ha tanti amici. Ogni giorno va a Messa e chiede a Gesù e alla Madonna di aiutarla a dire “sempre si” a Dio. Si iscrive al liceo classico, ma a diciassette anni, all’ improvviso si ammala gravemente. Chiara non perde la pace e il sorriso, e decide di offrire la sua sofferenza a Gesù: “Per te , Gesù”. Continua a regalare a tutti affetto, forza e speranza. I suoi amici la chiamano “Chiara Luce”. Si prepara con gioia ad andare in Paradiso: dovrà essere una festa. Ringrazia e saluta tutti. Un bacio ai suoi amici e una carezza alla mamma: “Ciao si felice, io lo sono!”. Parte per il Cielo il 7 ottobre 1990, quando ha appena diciotto anni. Nel 1998 è stata iniziata la sua causa di beatificazione.

It dreams to go in Africa as doctor and since the asylum sendes its saves the poor children. Clear child is one beautiful, intelligent and brave, glad and sport. He has many friends. Every day goes to Putting and asks Jesus and the Madonna to help it to always say "" God. Classic is enrolled to the grammar school, but to seventeen years, the unexpected one is become ill seriously. Clear it does not lose the peace and the smile, and decides to offer its suffering to Jesus: "For you, Jesus". It continues to give to all affection, forces and hope. Its friends call it "Clear Light". He prepares himself with joy to go in Paradise: festivity will have to be one. Ringrazia and it greets all. A kiss to its friends and one caress to the mother: "Hello happy, I it am!". Part for the Sky 7 October 1990, when it has eighteen years hardly. In 1998 it has been begun its cause of beatification.
